The eye balm goes on smoothly, gliding under your eyes with no effort. It gives your eyes a fresh, almost minty feeling, making your eyes look/feel awake and refreshed. I love that this product has clean ingredients and doesn’t have any harsh smells. It gives off the slightest sparkle and not any weird colors. It does take a little while to fully absorb into the skin, first leaving behind a greasy feeling. This makes it not sit too well under makeup. I noticed that my makeup either shifted or looked cakey under my eyes while wearing this eye balm under it, so I don’t think it’s too under makeup friendly.

Top photo is before, bottom photo is after. It gives a soft, natural-looking sheen that makes me look more awake. I was worried it might look too white/icy, but the Iced shade is perfectly natural looking! It also feels cooling and hydrating going on, like a little pick-me-up for tired eyes. Great staple for your AM routine!

Being able to put it on top of makeup was also weird to me. It does feel nice on the skin which I enjoyed. It always feels a little cool. But overall I found no real use for it because I never saw it doing anything for me at all.

The Tula Spresso Energizing Eye Balm feels cooling and refreshing under the eyes, and it does give a subtle brightening effect. It's nice for mornings when I want to look a little more awake without makeup. It doesn't completely replace concealer, but it makes my under eyes feel hydrated and look less tired. Overall, it's a good little pick-me-up, though the effect can be pretty subtle.

I have pretty sensitive skin and it didn't cause a reaction but be aware that it does give a cooling effect that is noticeable. I can't say for sure that it makes me look less tired since I'm a mom of 3 and always look exhausted but it is a nice little pick-me-up in the mornings. It's a little bit of self care I can do while trying to finish my cold coffee.

You put this on under your eyes and you know it's there because I feel it tingling and doing its job. It feels so crisp and cool, my poor tired eyes are loving this. Where has this been all my life.
