10.13" Stoneware Avesta Dinner Plate Rust - Threshold™

I ordered 8 of these plates because I had previously purchased the matching bowls and love them. I was hesitant because the price was low and other reviews complained about items arriving broken. Well, these plates were wrapped perfectly and not a single problem. I'm so glad I got a nice dinner plate and bowl set for a fraction of the price of others. I bought the bowls 9 months ago, and they still look brand new. Best yet, the color is exactly what I wanted!

I ordered 8 of these plates but after ordering ,I checked the reviews and cancelled 2 thinking it might come damaged but I won't lie ,it was amazing how it was packaged.The color is so awesome to be used during summer bbq until Thanksgiving.I wish I would not have cancelled the 2 other plates. I might get exchanged for entire set of 12 items (buy 2 sets).Will see if any nearby target has the set in store

These dishes are super nice. High quality and heavy. However…. I don’t recommend buying them unless you can get them at the store. Mine have been trying to be delivered 3 times now but the package keeps getting sent back because the dishes are broke. They are not wrapped very well AT ALL and they are then THROWN into a box that is clearly too big for them. It’s a shame because they are affordable and super nice. I just wish target could pack them better. Being sent back 3 times is ridiculous

The Stoneware Avesta Dinner Plates are very nice! They were exactly what I wanted and they were purchased at a great price. However, that’s where my compliments end. My 2-star my rating and review are for the service & delivery of the product. To be clear, I did read all of the reviews of previous customers and they were not wrong about the items showing up damaged. My main issue is that with all of the reviews citing how poorly the items were packaged AND many customers received damaged items, that wasn’t enough for the packaging team to improve on the quality of the packaging. These items were packed carelessly! I ordered 10 plates, 5 bowls, & 6 dinner bowls that were received over 3 shipments & each time an order arrived one to three items were in multiple pieces. Now, I did appreciate Target sending me a replacement for the damaged items, however when one of the replacement items also arrived damaged, they would not replace that item. Apparently you only get one replacement as a courtesy and that’s it. That is also very unfortunate because I am not able to go into my local or any nearby Target store to purchase these plates so my only option is to have them shipped. Target….if you are going to offer shipping for items that are fragile, PLEASE instruct your team on how to properly package these type of items! Wrap the items individually and securely, don’t overcrowd the box, use an appropriate sized box, package them securely inside the box with enough padding inside the box, AND, please indicate on the outside of the box that the items inside are FRAGILE and to handle with care.

These plates were such a pretty color for Thanksgiving. A great price fo the quality also.
