I use these for family Christmas and really like them. They look nice and are affordable. In comparison to the darker ones, these are the better option. They hold up better to knife/cutting marks and in the dish washer (the dark ones melt and lose shape).

These plates are awesome! We have them in white. We use them all the time over our porcelain plates because they are lightweight but also sturdy. Our young kids like them as much as our elderly visitors. These good looking plates are well designed with the edge being the perfect height for holding food and for grasping easily. They do not stain and tolerate the dishwasher without issue on normal and even heavy duty cycle. Good looking, functional, reasonably priced, and stand up to daily wear and washing. This is my one of Target’s smartest and most useful good looking products. Their price makes them an exceptional bargain too. Thank you Target.

Plate Review
I have seen a lot of reviews saying these plates warp or deform in the microwave/dishwasher. I never have had any issues with mine. For example: I do not run my dishwasher at the hottest dry setting, and only use the normal wash feature. Does the job perfectly, never had any stuck on food and kept its shape just fine. It may be where people may use hotter drying temp and wash settings that may result in the possible warps. As for the microwave part goes… it’s technically “microwave safe” but it’s actually “reheat only” safe! I’ve learned this from using the target .50 cent plates and bowls and never had any issues with warping in the dishwasher or microwave. I never put mine in the microwave for very long, just even to reheat using the reheat button. I hope this helps!

To be honest, I bought this plate just to microwave bacon. I didn’t want to pay the price for a real bacon tray. This plate has held up nicely and does not warp in the microwave.
