A: This is a great question, glitter is typically made from thin plastic films, such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), coated with a layer of aluminum to create its shine and color. I bought these thinking it was a regular marker but then realized it was a not so washable craft paint pen. I had to pivot as it’s too damp for regular paper. Instead I used on some wooden birdhouses. They came out great and look beautiful. Easy for the kids to use and definitely dried on wood. Lots of sparkle and vibrant colors.

Love these markers! The colors are nice, there is a good amount of glitter too. We have only used them on mondo llamas multipurpose paper so far, they will breakdown paper and create a hole when coloring too much in one spot. But they are a kid favorite.

Started out cool, but honestly these are more trouble than they’re worth if you’re trying to use them on anything besides paper. Packaging describes them as multi-surface but this does NOT include plastic or glass. Got these to decorate my own ornaments with; the pigment and opacity was cool at first. Unfortunately, other reviews aren’t lying when they say it literally. Never. Dries. I decorated my ornaments, even gave them a couple of coats because it seems like it dries down enough for more coverage rather than just scraping itself off. But after drying overnight (10+ hours) and 3 coats of acrylic sealer spray, I still managed to take pigment off and smudge my ornaments with just my fingers. I had better results with dollar store acrylic paint. Cool concept, but seems over complicated when all they needed to do is some thinned out acrylic paint.

I got these thinking that they were gonna be great and they are the complete opposite. They are garbage! If u like getting wet glitter all over every thing cause they literally never dry, then these would be the paint markers to buy. But I painted multiple different types of materials and I mean nothing dried, not plastic, metal, glass, paper dried after a very long time. So if I could I would give these a 0.

First off I know these aren't meant for sketchbooks, but I use paint markers in my sketchbooks so that's where I tested them. These are super sparkly. It took me 3 coats over the black to get it this level, and 2 over normal paper. They are WATERY. I shook them longer than normal paint markers before using and still the paint flowed like a waterfall out of these. It soaked right through the paper, which again I know they aren't meant for, but as wet as they are it lifted the black paint below them (which had been dry for an hour) and I would have to be just as cautious using them on anything else as well. I will use them though, just look at that glitter! It will just take more care to use them.

The "and more" definitely does NOT include plastic! Bought these specifically to write on the kids plastic bins but they don't dry. One week later, and I wiped everything right off with a paper towel. I've used other paint pens for the same thing before and had no problems. Super disappointed! The pens are cute on paper though, just not the reason I bought them.

Doing homework with my daughter can be a struggle but she will happily write, color, and draw while using all these pretty colors included in this pack! Big fan of the Mondo Llama line. Just be sure not to get it on marble countertops (learned the hard way) it doesn’t come off easily.
