Q: how does how does the umbrella get secured to the base? It seems very shallow and doesn't lock tight into the base pole. it spins when the wind blows when it's down and it looks unstable.

Looks nice but it's cheap
Do not buy. I had not even 60 days and it broke at the pole where the screw meets the pole. It looks good but not worth it at all. I will be returning to Target tomorrow.

didn't tilt. too wobbly. wasn't for us
it didn't tilt. after opening it up to see how it looked we noticed the shade just stayed in 1 position. if the wind blew, the shade would wobble with the breeze. there was no was to make it tilt and stay in a different position to angle it from the sun. we ended up returning it as it seemed a little flimsy and didn't do what we wanted for an umbrella

Extremely top heavy. It's hard to find a base heavy enough to hold it. They don't sell or suggest one for it. But the umbrella it great coverage and keeps you cool!

Base is not as pictured as it being an X. One side is longer than other. So this wouldn’t fit the sturdy base I have and wanted to use with this umbrella.
