Fell apart well, constructing would not recommend

We bought two of these to help with organization in our camper. We wanted something lightweight so we went with these over buying something more heavy duty. I am missing very important assembly pieces (dowels) and can’t even put the first one together. We also don’t have the screw covers that all the other reviews mention. Ignorantly, we already threw away the box to get it out of the way before we realized we were missing pieces. Very disappointing. Hoping they will take it back but we may be stuck with a product that wasn’t packaged properly. Instructions for assembly are also overwhelming. I was getting ready to throw them out before I realized I was missing important assembly items.

Avoid this storage cube. Cheaply made. Terrible quality. Spend a little extra and get a better quality one. Don’t waste your money on this one.

The instructions are not helpful at all. Two different-sized pegs, neither of which fit or make sense. Panels break very easily. Pay the extra money and get the better version.

This thing sucs has bad instructions and the screws destroy the wood. For some reason they have u screw into plastic that will expand which breaks the wood

Very flimsy quality. On top of that, I bought two to go together, and one didn’t include screw covers, while the other did!

I bought some Brightroom cube shelving about 3 years ago and wow, the quality has drastically decreased. The initial ones I bought were fantastic and sturdy; I even brought them with me during a move. This one that I picked up the other day is awful. It is mostly held together with plastic doll rods in the middle, so the entire unit is flimsy and wobbly. There should have been additional screws in the middle to stabilize it. It isn't worth it for me to take apart, box up, and return, so I'll be keeping it for now. I'd suggest looking elsewhere for similar shelving because this ain't it.

Made extremely cheap. Lasted 1 week in my classroom

For those who asked, according to the manual the shelf can go either horizontal or vertical, can also be stacked (pegs to connect are included). Would be easier to assemble with 2 people (as mentioned in the manual) but I was able to put it together by myself. The small dimensions work out for my small entryway. And I like that Target calls out baskets that would work for the shelf (11”) and there are many options. This is no hardwood but we don’t plan to putting anything heavy on it (also cautioned by the manual) so hopefully it will last for a long time.

Screws are way too big for pilot holes and break through the sides of the shelf.

Easy to assemble, only complaint is the black dots to fit over screws don't stick well.

Very difficult and literally a pain to put together. The screw holes were really tough to get the screws into. Its also very wobbly. I wanted to put plants on top but I don’t think thats a good idea now.

I bought a couple of these years back, but the quality has decreased. I've just assembled the first shelf, but I'm highly disappointed after realizing that I can't close the gaps where the dowels are. I figured this may have been because some of the outer screw holes aren't as deep as others, leading to the unfinished effect. However, the some of the dowels holes are like this as well. I'm not sure how to finish this without using power tools, but I don't want to risk breaking the shelf as trying to hammer one of the dowels down resulted in the particle board bursting. In addition, the screw covers are now just stickers instead of plastic caps. They look okay from the side or standing above them, but you can see the screws since they don't provide full coverage. This may be okay if you're not planning to use it for long, but it won't survive a move or two since they're flimsier than before. Save your money.

Very think flimsy material and poor finish. Item has an unpleasant odor to it. Not sure it will stay together if I try to move it. Nailing was difficult as nails were so tiny….hard t hold and install. Very disappointed. Below what I expect from Target in quality. Makes me hesitant to buy other Brightroom items. I would rather pay more to get a quality level that is acceptable.
