Q: Are there one or two metal sawtooth hangers on the back of the frame if I want to hang it vertical? In other words, will I need to put one or two holes in my wall to hang this frame vertically?

A: There are 2 sawtooth hangers for hanging vertical, and 2 sawtooth hangers for hanging horizontal. I just bought some of these based on the answer that there’s only 1 for each. But that is incorrect. And there’s no way to see the back until you open up the packaging. Bummer. Back to the store they go.

Q: I recently ordered this online and was shipped a frame that was 11x14 but with an 8x10 matte. The description says 5x7 matte, which is what I want. What size is the matte?

A: It holds an 8" x 10" photo when using the matte. Without the matte, it would hold an 11" x 14". The description needs to be updated, because 5"x7" is incorrect. I just bought this for a 5"x7" and now have to return it.
submitted byangelad - 8 years agoA: This frame holds a 5x7 image in the center of the matted area. If you do not want to use the matte included with the frame then you can put a 11x14 image which will cover the entire inside of the frame.

Q: What kind of attachment is used to hold the backing cardboard in place? Are they metal brads that have to be bent in place every time you change the photo, or are they brads that swivel in place.

I like the clean cut black color on the frame balanced with the eggshell colored canvas surrounded the photo. It gives a nice balance of light and dark. That said the frame itself feels like a cardboard or plywood and not super sturdy so better to pickup from store instead of having it shipped just in case. I received an incentive to write this review.

The mat was nice to be able to position the bunny in the center. The frame is super easy to use. I didn’t break a nail trying to put the back on and off to adjust the print at all. The picture is very simple and would fit in any space very well. It is black white and gray. It looks like stairs if you don’t want the picture to stand out in a small space I would definitely recommend this photo. I hung it on a small wall in my hallway and it looks perfect. The frame looks great, and is a good quality, however, the mounting hardware on the back requires extra nail holes in the wall and a level to make sure the photo hangs straight. It creates extra work when none should be needed.
