Q: Will this screw on to a standard shower head?

A: For the most part yes. It fits standard shower plumbing lines. Wrench may be required to get your existing one off since they tend to stick being there so long. Recommend hard hand tightening to put on since it is overall plastic composite and likely would crack with heavy tool tightening

I ordered this shower head on 12/28/19. It arrived on 01/04/20 and we installed it that night. As of 01/15/20 it is now making a loud sound and LED light/temperature goes off and on. The quality of the item when we opened the package was NOT as expected but we tried it anyway. It’s made of lightweight plastic and I’m not sure if it’s worth the $60 but rather $25. I am returning this item.

For the price you can’t beat this shower head changes colors to warm you before you get in the shower. If the water is too hot it turns red, if it’s too cold it turns blue. If it’s just right it turns green. The water flow is amazing. And the installation took less than a minute.

We did remove water flow restrictor, as usual. Love the coverage of waterflow. So relaxing. Highly recommend. We also love the temp light indicator and being able to read actual temp from in the shower. Very nice feature. The only caution is if you want large individual streams this device would not be the one.

I bought this because it takes a while in the morning for the hot water to kick in. Now instead of constantly checking the water temperature in the shower, we look at the color of the lights to tell us when it is ready. Wonderful spray of water on this shower head as well, so I bought a second one for our other shower. It also lets you know what the temperature of the water is.
