Q: Is the ticking loud? I want a quiet clock.
A: Hi JennaC. Good afternoon and thank you so much for your interest in our Westclox 12" Butterfly Themed Dial Wall Clock. In terms of the loudness of the tick on this clock, this clock does make a very slight ticking noise when running. However, the ticking sound is quiet enough that you can barely hear it unless your were standing directly in front of the clock or if the room where the clock is hanging from is very quiet. JennaC, some of our customers who had provided reviews about our Butterfly Wall Clock have mention that the tick is not too bothersome to them at all. So, if you are still interested in our wall clock it is hope that you will enjoy it very much for many years to come. JennaC, thank you again for reaching out to us. Best regards!

Q: This clock is described for indoor use. Is a covered screen porch considered indoor? It would be protected from rain, but not humidity.
A: Hi LouiseGill. Good morning and thank you for your question. First, please accept my apologies for not responding back to you in a timely fashion. I just joined the company and I personally will be answering all questions left in this portal going forward. LouiseGill, our Westclox Butterfly Themed Dial clock is considered to be an indoor clock and should only be used as such. If your were to hang this clock inside of a covered screen porch the clock would not be protected by either the moisture or the humidity that could be lingering in the air. Eventually, the clock's mechanism and any other essential parts that is require to keep the clock functioning properly would then become compromised and the clock would then be deemed defective. Otherwise, I sincerely hope that you enjoy this beautiful clock for many years to come! LouiseGill, thank you so much for your question and for reaching out to us. Best regards!
