Q: Is the back of clock completely flat to be able to secure to wall with command strips?

A: Hi Dita, Thanks for reaching out with your question. The back of the clock is not completely flat, as it has the battery compartment and adjustment knobs. Because of this, it may not sit flush against the wall if mounted with command strips. For the most secure mounting, we recommend using the built-in wall hanging slot/hook on the back of the clock. This clock's sleek, modern design is just what I was looking for in my kitchen. The gold on black makes it very easy to read from across the room. Another review said it was too loud for a bedroom. Perhaps that person is sensitive to sound, or they got a defective product, because this is the quietest analog clock I've ever had. Even when I was holding it to put the battery in, I couldn't hear it tick. I'm very happy with my new clock.

I really liked thr Modern design and colors of it, however the ticking sound was too loud and could hear at night. Clock was placed about 30 feet away from bed.

Absolutely perfect for our kitchen! I’ve been shopping many clocks recently and love how this one has a dark background with the brass / gold numbers. It makes it much easier to see from across the room and looks great too! Took one AA battery and I hung it with a command hook since the wall is tile. Love and would recommend!

I have this clock hanging in my office and have received several compliments on it in just a short time! It looks way more expensive than it is— the black in the background is a matte with the brushed gold looking numbers and dial… it’s an awesome minimalist look. I feel like it compliments the office without being overbearing, and can match anything as I change the decor over time! It feels durable and good quality and looks awesome on the wall. I love the look of this clock. It is modern and stylish while still carrying a classic look. This has been a fun addition to my office space to add some fun style on a gallery wall. The clock was easy to set up right out of the box but I was dissappointed that the sides of my clock were scuffed in the 4 areas that the clock had contact with the cardboard box - it is made of plastic and seems to scuff easily. Luckily after cleaning its less noticeable and also not noticeable in the area where the clock was hung. In a different location or angle though this would bother me more. It would be great if the outside ring were metal for better protection. The author of this review recevied a free sample of this product.
