Q: Does the clock tick?

A: Hi Ac. Thank you for your interest in our Westclox 15.5" Authentic Vintage Modern Analog Wall Clock Black. MODEL #33363. Ac, this wall clock does have a very slight ticking noise when running. However, the ticking sound is barely noticeable unless your were to be standing directly in front of the clock or if it is in an area that is very quiet. Our clock's was designed to bring character to any room or home that its is placed in. So, it is our hope that our clock will do that for your home too. This clock doesn't work. I loved the look, but despite trying 2 brand new batteries in it, it would only work for a while and then the hands would stop moving. I returned this clock to Target thinking it was a fluke. I bought this exact clock straight from the manufacturer (again, I liked the look!)...SAME PROBLEM with the second clock. Works for 10-15 minutes and stops. You can hear it ticking but the hands stop moving. ChatGPT basically asked me why I was buying a cheap clock when I asked for ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem. Do not buy.
