    Statement clock.

    Others say it ticks. My experience is that it's silent. For the price (cheaper when bought online), it's a nice- looking piece, not cheap-looking. The metal hands and white numbers stand out against the black, making it easy to read, in dim light and from a distance. I wish there were some logo or a second hand to add some design pop. That said, It's minimalist without being plain-Jane. I think in general that big clocks are dumb. This one, at 19.5 inches, is a decent compromise.

    Could have been great

    Super cute clock and I’m so disappointed it doesn’t do its basic job. The hour hand does not get directly to the hour until about 15 minutes after the hour. So when it’s noon, the minute hand points straight up, but the hour hand is only about 3/4 of the way to the 12. It’s maddening. Returned it to get another, assuming it was a defect, but they all do that. Disappointed
