Great value !
Bought as a gift for out Granddaughter, and she just Loves it !!! She uses it as a night light in the evenings. Also using dry erase markers to get a sense of everywhere she has been across the world so far a seven years of age. Her Father travels fairly often as a member of the United States Air Force, so she has traveled quite a bit in just seven years, beginning with being born in Japan !!!! For the money you really can\'t go wrong for a durable sturdy globe that will see usage, not just a decoration. I will add that it is kept on a desk where schoolwork and other things take place and is holding up quite well.

Makes a statement
This globe is a major upgrade to the outdated one that was in my classroom. My multilingual learners love finding their countries on it and sharing stories with their peers. They especially like that it lights up and will request it to be turned on if I don\'t have it on when they walk in the room. I love that I can have the light feature on for several hours and the globe itself doesn\'t get hot. This was my top addition to my classroom this year. My class hopes you love it as much as we do!

Ideal gift for kids
This is a gift for my eight year old son. I just want to guide him to know countries from the globe and explore geography. It rotates different angles. It is easy to write by markers and wipe off. A good decoration in his room as well at daytime , especially Led light at night.

Way bigger than expected!! But great, clear print. Everything is legible for my 7 year old. Not heavy at all. It will be a Christmas gift.― my only "complaint" is that the "sticker" has an error on the equator from when they made it. But not worth the hassle of returning it because of the size.

I always prefer globes to maps - they get rid of that pesky distortion problems. I like playing a couple of geography map games online. Unlike my daughter, who had an international job, I need visual help in finding the countries. This is replaced an older globe that didn't have current countries, plus it's more attractive and looks pretty in my living room. (I still have older atlases with the old country names in them, cuz I'm that type of nerd - I just don't have room for multiple globes!)

Very well made, good value but … _ No instructions for commotion of power ( it's at the bottom of pivot ) - Mo AC/DC adapter included. - No internal power storage power wire must be connected for light to work, making rotation clumsy.

Grandson Loved it
My son-in-law is a pilot and travels a lot. My Grandson ask for a globe to track dad when he's gone. This one lights up so he's very happy with it.
