I really wanted to like this Ultramax 27-cup dispenser, but I’m very disappointed with the quality. The spout started leaking not long after I began using it, and now the bottom is cracking, which is also causing water to leak. I expected this product to last much longer, especially from a trusted brand.

I bought my dispenser about a month ago and it’s already leaking. I have to keep a cup underneath the dispenser, as water is constantly dripping.

I recently got the Brita Ultra Max for my home and it’s honestly become a staple in our kitchen. Right off the bat, this thing holds a ton of water about 27 cups which means I only need to refill it every couple of days. That’s a huge win during busy work weeks. The setup was straightforward. Filling the reservoir and letting it filter through took just a few minutes, and once it was ready wow the water tasted noticeably smoother and cleaner than tap water. Not just less chlorine, but even ordinary mineral flavors seem muted now. The dispenser itself is impressively well built. The sturdy handle makes it easy to lift, and the strong spigot dispenses water cleanly with no drips or mess. I keep it on my counter and it doesn't feel oversized or cluttered. In fact, we use it so often that our refrigerator barely gets touched now especially when I’m grabbing water for coffee or cooking. Overall, I’d highly recommend the Brita Ultra Max for anyone who wants easy access to cleaner, better tasting drinking water especially in a household of two or more. It’s large, reliable, and really takes the hassle out of staying hydrated.

I appreciate the larger capacity to reduce number of refills per day. Although, out of the box, mine had a large crack in the filter insert piece. So basically I just bought a container to drink my unfiltered water in. Looked for replacement parts and there are none. Any support with this?

I purchased this about a month ago, and the filter and the spigot are fine. My problem is, I need to move it forward to be able to dispense water. When I move it back, it makes the most horrible squeaking sound. I'm going to line the shelf of my fridge to see if it helps at all.

Our water at our rental is so awful, we decided to get a brita dispenser. This makes all the difference in taste. It’s a great size and fits well in our fridge. It’s so easy to clean and the filter is reasonably priced!

This is my third time buying this dispenser because each time it leaks. Have tried several of the recommended "fixes" and still does not work. I cannot even keep it in my fridge anymore because the water leakage is so much that is fills the bottom of my fridge and causes the fridge to leak.

Bought in mid February and spigot began leaking. Have the same pitcher now for six years with no issues. Tried emptying and removing and reinstalling spigot and still leaks. So disappointed, was enjoying have both the larger item along with the pitcher to increase my water intake.

I bought the Brita ultramax water dispenser with standard filter in January. The water tasted amazing! It’s the Best water I ever had. I definitely recommend getting this water dispenser! In March, I decided to get the elite filters because they last longer. I replaced the standard filter with an elite filter, did everything the directions said, and it tastes like chemicals. Absolutely disgusting. I’m waiting for a response from Brita to see what they have to say but I definitely don’t recommend getting the elite filters. I’ll update whenever I get a response.

The water tank has a minimalist design that is exactly what I like. It fits perfectly in the fridge, and my friends love it when they come to visit me. I came home to find a shelf in my refrigerator filled with water and my dispenser empty with multiple cracks. I only had it for about a month. The temperature in the refrigerator was on the recommended setting. Not sure how and why this happened.
