Q: Hi. Can this be hung on a closet rod as well?

A: Hi Shoesies - Thanks for asking! This over-the-door shoe organizer can be hung on a closet rod. However, it's designed so that the flat back of the unit relies on the solid surface of a door for support. When hung on a rod, the organizer will hang freely, and this lack of a solid backing may make it less stable and could cause items to fall out. Worked for what i needed for. It has 3 larger pockets on bottom, i didn’t realize but also didn’t look at the pictures closely when i ordered. I’d prefer all smaller pockets, but it was so reasonably priced it’s not a huge deal.

This is a really great item; it’s unique with its 15 pockets; 12 standard pockets, two large pockets and one at the bottom that spans the width of the hanger. And, the pockets are all woven fabric, not plastic. I have purchased three of these now. It’s a great product. I have not found
