I was ready to purchase the cheaper Target brand in store for my shirts when I found this. Yes, it has 2 less shelves but due to their size, you could fit more in each shelf. Plus, it has the sturdier metal hooks versus the plastic of the competitor. From the pictures, it offers a cleaner streamlined closet. One shelf can hold a pair of heels or 2 pairs of flats. See bottom shelf. Tip-if you're buying in store, make sure the extra hooks are included. Someone had ripped open the bag from mine. :(

I use them in my hall closet to catch everyone’s every day shoes and keep them off the floor. Bought an extra to use in my sons room to hold his hats and accessories! Will probably end up with a couple more for my husband and myself.
