Q: Can the hooks go over a door of 2 inches?

Q: how thick are the brackets? I've had issues with over the door items in the past that are thick and therefore the door wouldn't close.

The internal size of each partition is : 27cm W x 14.7cm D x 12.2cm H (10.63" W x 5.78" D x 4.8" H), since shoes has different style, we think it would be better to give you internal size, so that you can measure the shoes. I had a some trouble at first with the hooks. I saw that as one of the questions a customer asked and the answer from the representative was not very helpful just saying look at the directions and I did but I didn't see how the hooks would come in through the back with the flat fabric however after so many tries, I finally put on reading glasses (trouble seeing small detail with contacts on) then I can see small slits in the back to insert the flat end of the hook. This is much different than other over the door racks that usually go in on top so it could have been more clear in the instructions, maybe a close up drawing of the slits on the back or it just could just say that. Whoever the rep was that anwered the question could have just said that as well. Because that was one of the questions posted here, I can't be the only one and sure that others will come across the same issue, that is what I was looking for in the questions too. so I hope it helps someone. After getting the hooks in, it went over the door easily and the door opens and closes with no problem which is an issue I have had with other ones. I didn't get it for shoes. I have it for other miscellanous Items that I have no space for like they have pictured. It's really sturdy, roomy and will hold a lot

Well made over the door shoe storage. It is sturdy and each sub-section can hold a full pair of shoes. Over the door bracket is 1.5in. We used a 2in bracket we had and wire to hang this and it worked well.

I like the look of it, and the materials are nice and cloth-like rather than plastic. I like the structured cells for the shoes to sit in so you don’t have to crumple the shoes forcing them into little pockets. Didn’t like: sits too high up, so now my door won’t close. I chose to hang it on the outside of my door for easy access by all family members. But the top of it hits the door frame (see photo). If it were hung on the other side of the door, this wouldn’t be an issue, as there is no wood strip on the other side (in the direction where the door swings). I like it enough that I am going to try some different hooks so it can hang a little lower.

This is the best over the door shoe organized I've seen. I hate the front load ones that squish down your shoes, but this one loads from the side and doesn't flatten out the shoes. And it holds so many pairs. I can fit 2-3 flats or flip flops in 1 section, 1 pair of sneakers in 1 section, or 1 larger heel or shoe in 1 section. And the little shelf at the top is so convenient
