I thought this shelf was all put together. When I opened the box it looked like a Jigsaw puzzle. And looked vey cheap.

It was pretty intimidating to assemble at first because of the picture and how many pieces it comes with. It only took me maybe an hour to put together. It looks really nice on the wall as well!

I will be returning this item. I purchased this item in store for my previous home and it was nicely packaged and the shelf came in two pieces. I moved and wanted one for my new home and received a long, flat box with multiple pieces for assembly. Not what I expect from Target.

If I could give the piece of garbage a negative star rating I would. At first glance this shelf looks really nice, and had it not been for the garbage template i think it would have looked nice in my bathroom, however upon using the template to measure the holes and making sure everything was going to be level and perfect, once i finished screwing in the last screw and attempting to mount the shelf, it turned out the template was .25in off and now i have giant holes in my wall i need to repair. On top of the faulty template, 2 of the drywall anchors broke halfway in my drywall only leaving me with 2 useable drywall anchors. Long story short, I am not pleased with the result and will not be purchasing another product from Threshold again.

Returning this item. The picture looked like it was a dark wood shelf. You can see the wood grain. The item that arrived is a black textured laminate product. Completely surprised.

Was perfect for bathroom. Only suggestion is come up with something besides white sticker circles to cover screws.

The shelf is fine for knick knacks. The corners did not all come together perfectly but it serves it's purpose. Small white stickers were provided to cover the screw heads. I am sure these will fall off/apart the first time I dust the shelf. It was disappointing that they did not include the plastic covers as opposed to paper stickers.

This shelf comes flat in a box and needs to be assembled. Normally this is fine, but the quality of the pieces is poor. The black finish does not cover all the exposed wood on the edges. There are brass screws on all sides of the shelf and they give you paper stickers to cover the screws. The stickers that came with my black shelf are white (so useless). It does not look like the same shelf shown in the photos. There is no wood grain to it like depicted. It looks like black plastic. The shelf looks incredibly cheap...save your money!

I got this shelf unit to add extra wall storage to my bathroom. It was easy to assemble and hangs securely to the wall. It serves the intended function well, which is to store small items where I can get to the easily without having them sit on the counter. The unit is not very pretty, though. The metal screws on the side are visible and the edges are not very clean. It is what I expected for the price, though.

Very easy to put together. Such a nice accent on my bedroom wall! Love it.

I bought this shelf for my boyfriend to put his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle collection on. He use to just line them up on the dresser and they would always get knocked down. Turtle feet aren't very stable. Not only was that annoying it looked cluttered. The measurements of this shelf were perfect sizes for his favorite turtles and now they can be looked at and not touched just how he likes it. I'm sure it would work just as well for whatever items you want display if you're not into turtles. Was really easy to put together, decent quality. I did not use the stickers that were included to cover the screws that would have made it look cheap. We decided seeing the screws looked better. It always came with a mini level which I found so cute.

Assembly instructions were easy to follow. You will want to use something else instead of the cheap white dots they provide to cover the screws. Both areas where you hang the shelf blew out when I mounted it. I knew it was cheap material before I purchased it. I didn't think it was going to be this bad though.
