The quality is very good and it has some weight to it so it doesn't slide around. I haven't washed it yet but I have no doubt it will be fine. I love it. LOVE!!! This rug needs something to keep it from moving, but is great quality. My dog has destroyed 5 rugs in the past few months and this one has withstood the test of time… or dog. It’s soft and hasn’t fallen apart with a couple strands getting pulled. It looks like the day I bought it/ probably 6 months ago!
