NOT WASHABLE! I bought two and washed them on their own on a gentle cycle - both frayed and the backing released a bunch of rubber pieces. I’m so disappointed, as they’re beautiful.

I bought this rug because it was washable and dryable. I followed the manufacturer's instructions. Wash in cold, dry low. Tiny pieces of rubber backing were in my dryer and in the lint catcher. It was a mess to clean up. The black threaded stitching also unraveled, as well. I do not recommend purchasing this rug unless you want to dry clean it or hand wash it and air dry.

It is a pretty rug BUT I did not have a pleasant experience machine washing it. It seems like others have had luck so I’m going to chalk it up to user error. Maybe the washer water temp was set to warm or hot. The rubber backing flaked off/pilled making a huge mess in the washer and dryer.
