So disappointing!
Initially this looked very promising. But it’s a fail for several reasons and if you want complete blackout don’t order these. First, one of the panels was almost an inch shorter than the other. Second, the blackout liner is about 2” shorter than the sheer layer! So unless you’re ok with them dragging on the floor, you won’t get complete blackout.

Great set of curtains!
They do what they are advertised, total blackout. Now since there are rings at the top, the do let in a tiny bit of light, but I don’t mind that. Also, someone else mentioned that the lining in the back isn’t sowed on, it’s only sowed on the edges, but it looks fine to me. Ordered 4 for my two pairs of windows in my room and it has made a huge difference! They are a bit pricey, but I got them on sale so I feel it was worth the price.

Works for darkening room
As far as the white I was looking for in the room and the darkening filter, these worked great. What I was not happy about was hanging and steaming them (lots of wrinkles) only to find on the last panel that the main part of the curtain is sewn to the edge trim. About 10" of it which creates a gap on the front and does not lay flat. Unfortunately, I am not a seamstress in any way, shape or form so cannot fix this. Ripping out the stitching will only result in an unfinished side and most likely holes in the material. But I threw out all the packaging already so cannot return them. Not happy considering the price I paid.

Nice quality, but ...
First, the positive. These curtains are attractive and definitely look more expensive than they are due to the linen blend. The blackout effect is good, although the grommets definitely reduce the effect someone (I knew this would be the case going in, so no star deduction there). However, the metal grommets are visually different from the way they appear in the photographs on the website -- more of a dark and shiny silver than the lighter, flatter "brushed silver" that is depicted. This is disappointing, as I was trying to match the grommets to the curtain rods, based on the photographs. So I deducted 2 stars for that.
