Nice solid wood table, but with some quality issues.
I want to love this table, but a few things bother me. It is a very rustic table, with an almost nonexistent finish, other than a light and somewhat inconsistent stain. I'm afraid that the finish will actually rub off with use. It is made of solid wood, which is nice. Although I knew this was supposed to be "rustic", I did expect the pieces comprising the tabletop to be level, as pictured. However, there is a lot of inconsistency to the pieces. On my table, a piece of wood along one side is literally 1/8 inch lower than the rest of the tabletop. After putting it together (very easy), the metal frame somehow keeps things even enough that I was able to place a lamp and several pictures on the table and they are staying level so I have decided to keep the table. If the table surface had been level I would have given this 4 stars. The poor quality of the finish on the wood prevents it from receiving 5 stars.
