Mats Have A White Substrate With A Thin Color Layer
These mats looked great. Got two of them. One lasted a couple of weeks before the color layer started coming off. It was returned thinking it was an anomaly. The second lasted a few months before a no longer very sticky, piece of used packing tape accidentally came into contact with the surface. Yep, you guessed: The color layer came off with the tape! It looks as if white paint has been spilled on on the mat now. Mats, like this, should be the same color through and through instead of having a thin, fragile coating applied to the surface of what is, basically, a white matt. They're intended to be walked on and are flexible after all! Very disappointed because these mats appeared to be the perfect solution for two kitchen areas.

Finish rubs off after a short time.
Gosh, I loved these rugs for the short time they lasted. They were beautiful and squishy and great for about a month. After that, the finish started to come off. It's just printed on and comes off quickly with normal use. Save yourself the trouble and get something else.

Quality Control Issue: The finish flaked off after little use
I bought two of the gray mats. Both had issues with the flaking off of the gray finish with light use. I had to return both of them for a refund. Quality control should have caught this problem since it is not a one off but happened to two of the mats purchased several weeks apart.

I have had this kitchen mat for a little over four months and the top surface is coming off. It is a month and a couple of week's over Targets return policy. I don't know if it is easy to clean, I was afraid to because the surface is coming off. I also did not rate the design, because maybe it is contrubuting to the peeling surface. I do not recommend purchasing this kitchen mat.

Comfortable, but poorly made
While these mats are comfortable to stand on, they are absolute garbage in terms of the manufacturing quality. In less that two weeks of ownership, the colored top layer of rubber or PU of the two mats I bought were already starting to peel off in numerous places, from foot traffic and running a vacuum over them, revealing the white inner foam. Don't waste your money on these, they're junk.

Visible wear and tear in 2 months
Not even 2 months later and this mat is already showing critical signs of wear and tear. The material is white with a colored coating so when it’s used, it starts to show the white underneath. It looks terrible and will need to be replaced.

Defrctive kitchen mats
I purchased two rugs at different times. The one with the most paint we're off the top is the oldest one by about a month so basically I would not recommend these they're comfortable, but for some reason it's looks pretty common issue.
