Cheap plastic lock
The cutest diary ever except… The cheapest lock ever! My granddaughter was so excited when she opened this gift. She immediately tried the lock and it broke! A plastic lock. Really??? Devastated I reached out to the company and never received a reply. So if you do decide to purchase this know that you will also need to purchase a real lock.

It has a cute little pink deer on the front. It comes with a lock and key, fuzzy pen, markers, glue, jewels, and stickers. Some of the pages have things you can color. Overall, this book is so cute and I recommend it!

From the glittery cover to the lock and keys, she has raved and raved about this diary and glittered stickers that were included. She feel so special having her set of keys and her own private space. I love how fun it is for he. It is as cute as it can be. The journal itself is a great quality and the included stickers are perfect, the lock is lacking in quality but for a young child it does it's job.

She gets to be creative in designing each page and there is room to write down her thoughts. Being able to decorate the cover is a bonus! However, the gems included to decorate the cover/pages do not stick very well on their own, they need additional glue.

However the sticker beads to decorate it unfortunately don’t stick to the glitter. She worked really hard on decorating it, only for most of them to fall off. Other than that the diary is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun and creative way to write about your days . This is best for kids six and up . My daughter is seven and she had an absolute blast decorating the front cover of this diary and using all the stickers on the daily pages inside and she really enjoyed the pom-pom pen . It also comes with five neon markers and boy are they great for coloring and decorating . I really liked that it came with 100 pearls and craft glue , this truly is an all in one type of craft . They include everything you need for your fun filled documentation . I really love the little heart lock and two heart shaped keys . My daughter put one on necklace and where is it around her neck . There are 100 pages to color in and write about your day or anything you would like . The paper is nice quality and does not rip and the ink does not seep through . The whole book is very nicely made and just full of lovely , upbeat affirmations.

Does not lock tightly enough for privacy
As much as I wanted my daughter to love this cute diary, she did not like it because she said that it was not private enough for her. Even after locking it correctly there is a huge cap and the diary pages can be opened and can be seen.

She keeps it with her pretty much at all times. It seems to give her a sense of stability. She loves the pretty deer that is on the front of it and well she loves everything about it. I'm sure she probably almost has it filled up being that she writes in it constantly.
