Perfect for my nostalgia tree
Got 4 boxes of these for this year's 'nostalgia' tree. I think they look great! Putting these on the tree brought back the feeling of being a 'still believing in Santa' kid which is exactly what this year's tree is all about. Mine do not flicker and the colors feel like the old style lights from 50+ years ago. They are very bright for indoors, I have contemplated seeing how they react to a dimmer. I will probably grab a bunch more if they are available again next year.

The pattern doesnr carry from one strand to the next :(
The pattern does not flow from one strand to the next. We had to take the bulbs out of every 2/3 strands to fix the pattern which caused us to be short a few colored bulbs - bought extra packs simply to take the bulbs and finish the pattern. This was so I convenient! If they had added 2 more lights and made the pattern flow from strand to strand, I would have easily given 5 stars but this was extremely time consuming...

Great holiday lights!
Love these red, green, and white lights! Really like that you can remove bulbs and the strand still works so if you have a little extra at an end, you can just twist those bulbs out! I took the photo before I realized that so now I don’t have that extra tail.

Not impressed
I purchased these after previously using the wondershop (target) brand in the past. These are cheap looking and plastic. Some of the bulbs won’t light and they don’t come with extra replacement bulbs unlike other brands. I would not buy these again.

Bright, beautiful
I’m always searching for a soft but bright incandescent light sets and this was it. I HATE LED lights and these offer a bright alternative without looking neon. The bulbs are large and the colors are exactly what I was looking for; red, white, and green are the only colors I use for Christmas decor. Cant speak to the longevity yet since I just put them up but so far very happy!

Good, but not great.
So I purchased these to go on my tree and replace my other LED large bulb colored lights in trying to get the classic warm glow of old incandescent. Objectively, these are great and would be fantastic for outdoor use, but these are WAY too bright for indoor. The blue and white bulbs are especially bright it seems and gave me a horrible headache. Unplugged them, and felt better within minutes. 3/5 because they are lovely, and will be awesome for outdoor, BUT they do not have the warm glow as the blue is very overpowering still, and they are too bright for indoor use despite product use descriptions.

The angle in which you view the lights will determine the look of them. Sometimes they have the perfect incandescent look and sometimes they’re glowing a terrible purple glow. I bought these type of lights several years ago and didn’t have this problem.

While the bulb style and multicolor palette is indeed "incandescent look," they do not have any incandescent glow or warmth. In fact, they are insanely bright; you could practically land an airplane with these lights. Note that the detailed item description does say "super bright lights," which directly contradicts any "incandescent" claims... However, if it's helpful to know, these do look better than the Wondershop LED incandescent lights, which were the only other LED C9 option at Target.

The green, red, and orange bulbs look very similar to traditional incandescent c9 lights, but the blue is obnoxiously bright and the white is very cold; these do not look incandescent. Wanted to try these to save some energy but it isn’t worth it since they look noticeably different than the incandescent lights I have already hung up.

Not a "Traditional" warm glow
Not the “traditional” glow I was excepting at all. The lights are plastic which is fine but the incandescent “traditional glow” that is written on the packaging along with the picture feels misleading to me. In my review I’ve attached photos of some old c9 lights along with the Sylvania lights out of the package. You can definitely tell there is not a true warm tone.

No, these are not the same as true incandescent C9's. They are much brighter and though not as warm as true incandescent bulbs, they are definitely not as overly high color temp as other LED lights. Also, true C9's can only safely be 2 or 3 strings in series per the ampacity rating of SPT1 wire. You can link 36 strings of these together, making a lighted length of over 550 feet! For the sale price of nine bucks a string, that's a great deal.
