The quality of these barstools are absolutely terrible. Returned all of them.

The stool was impossible to put together, the pre drill holes were not lined up properly & it required more work than the description to get together.

I have had these for 4 years and they hold up nicely. Keep the tool to tighten the bolts in a close by drawer and tighten the bolts if the legs get wobbly or at least once a year I tighten while cleaning them.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with many others: the screws are terrible. They loosen easily and now don’t tighten anymore. I’ll be off to the hardware store to see if - as others have suggested - new #14 screws will fix the issue. We’ll see. Stools are otherwise good quality and exactly as shown.

These stools have begun to fall apart less than one year after purchase. The screws have come loose and cannot be tightened any longer.

Love the look of these stools but the assembly process is awful! The screws strip easily and it is almost impossible to put it together to look nice.

These stools look great but the screws won’t stay tight. We’ve had these for just over a year and they already need to be replaced. At this point they are just too wobbly to safely sit on.

I bought three of these barstools and I love the look, but the support bars on the legs do not screw into place and easily get broken! We've had these for less than a week and one support bar is already hanging out. We followed the instructions and used the provided tools, even had 3 people involved at one point to hold everything steady while tightening the screws, and it's still falling apart. I think a similar-looking barstool is available elsewhere. If these were less fragile I'd be giving a 5 because they were so perfect for what we needed, but they were a pain to assemble and do not hold up.

Not well made. Screws do not line up, strip easily. Requires work to make it functional. Will return.

The quality of nails is so bad. The nail top easily got deformed halfway so you can’t really use the screw anymore. Will be returning.

Loved the simple look, hated the product. Easy to put together but the bolts never stayed secure no matter how many times we have tightened them. The stools wobble constantly, rather embarrassing when guests hesitated to sit on them. Our seven year old 50lb child went to get off of the stool and her foot went right through the wood piece you rest your feet on. Very upset with the quality, or lack there of.

They were fairly simple to put together, definitely need a little muscle! They look great and feel sturdy.

My son’s keyboard is at its lowest setting, but we don’t have a high enough chair, so I ordered this affordable counter-height barstool! It’s perfect. My husband said it was fairly easy to set up, and my son thinks it’s sturdy and pretty comfortable when he’s practicing his piano lessons. Overall, great purchase (oh, and the black is very black, in my opinion).
