Legs are a very orangey red color...I wish I knew this!
I barely got them out of the box. The legs were much redder and more orange than I could tell by the pictures. Giving them 3 stars because they looked fine other than leg color.

Not sturdy or well made (IMO)
I ordered four chairs. I put together one of the chairs following the pictorial only directions. The chair was difficult to put together. The prices did not fit properly. Screws fell out after being placed into place. I returned all four chairs.

You get what you pay for.
Faced with paying hundreds each for custom counter-height chairs for our remodeled kitchen, I found these inexpensive chairs that matched our new colors. I ordered one to see if it would work. It arrived well packed and assembly was not difficult. It is a sturdy chair with screws that can be tightened if it starts to wobble. The seat is pretty small and the padding is minimal, but it looks great in the kitchen and as long as I don't spend too much time sitting on it with my less than maximus gluteus, it will be OK. Vinyl seating doesn't last long, and if I get 4-5 years out of these, I'll be happy. I've ordered three more.

The item is nice for the money, but the manufacturer customer service could use some work. I purchased three of these stools for our new home, and they look nice in the space but definitely not high quality. Very easily put together. However, while assembling the third one, I noticed one of the front legs was missing the hole the front crossbar fits into. Per the instructions, I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement part and customer service promptly sent me a *replacement* part for the defective one. When I received the part, it was labeled as the same part but was actually the front crossbar instead of a leg. I again contacted the manufacturer, who told me they were actually out of the part I needed. Maybe they thought I'd be able to use a different part??? Now my only option is to disassemble the stool and return to Target for a refund or have a wobbly stool.

Never assembled the chairs, but the wooden legs were lighter in color then expected and returned them to the store. We were expecting a darker color because of the picture. We have dark wooden cabinets and a dark hardwood floor and they clashed with the interior of our house. We were so disappointed because we thought we finally found our new barstools.

Nice barstools.
Looked for some barstools for quite a while. Happen to look at Target's website right before the 4th of July. They had a sale and then an additional 10% off for the holiday. With your Target card you got an additional 5% off plus free shipping. So I got the chairs for less than $50 each. And they came 2 days after they were shipped. So all in all we got a very good deal. And they're pretty comfortable. And since my grandkids will be the ones using them, I couldn't have pick a better choice.

These are totally a get what you paid for situation. We purchased them relatively inexpensive on sale with an extra 15% off and using the RED card. They are not easily put together and the pieces are cheap and poor quality. 2 or the 4 stools came broken, the company states to contact them before returning but after several calls haven't been contacted. Hoping target will even exchange because now that I took the time to put two together I'm am going to keep them and hope they last.

Smaller profile, quality, beauty and comfort
We were looking for a counter stool that had a smaller profile but was still comfortable. These are just what we were looking for. They also look expensive, are of good quality and are sturdy. One thing to be aware of when assembling is to be careful when screwing in the rail/rung screws. We used a power screwdriver and twisted off the heads of 2 screws before we backed off on the power. We then had to get out the headless screw, drill the holes a little deeper, find new screws and start again. The end result is great though and I would buy them again.

Easy to put together, however, the screws provided are of poor quality metal. One of them broke off mid-shaft from torque when I used an impact driver. The combo of the cream vinyl with the dark stitching gives off a slightly 70's vibe, in a good way. The chairs are comfortable even though the padding is more firm than you would imagine.
