Q: is the glass tempered safety glass? I see the hole there for the spout. is the glass tempered ?? if it breaks does it chatter into tiny pieces or large chards?

Had this home for less than 10 minutes. It slipped out of my hands while washing and shattered in my sink. In retrospect, it was quite heavy which is good but would be best if it is kept and used in one spot in your kitchen. I was hoping to bring it back and forth to events which would have been hard to handle, even if empty. I wish the lid was airtight, it just sits loose on top. Great looking piece, but be careful with handwashing!

The spicket is very easy to turn, so far no leaking. I like the thought of using glass rather than plastic. My kids use this in our kitchen since some of them are still too little to reach the faucet and I don't have to refill their drinks constantly. The kids also seem to drink more water now just because "it's so cool" to fill their own glass 😄

I bought this for it's convenience and elegance. Within a couple of weeks of using it, the spout began to leak water. Too bad I have to return it! I wish it had a better quality spout not made of plastic.

Has a slow drip. Just glad I noticed it right away or it would of been a massive mess in my kitchen. I will be returning. I also noticed that since the lid isn’t secured a little gnat got inside

The missing star is as other reviews have stated, the lid does not sit flush. It does look like it fits but there’s nothing keeping it there, just barley resting ontop. HOWEVER - It functions every other way. It’s rare I get any type of dispenser with a spout that hasn’t started leaking weeks after buying it. We’ve had it for a couple months now and it’s still going strong (even with my husband using the darn spout to pull it forward to the edge of the counter!) all in all, I would purchase again.

I have a bar service and offer non - alcoholic options in dispensers. These are great. Have used them over a hundred times and by far the only set (I have 2) that have a faster pour instead of a trickle and look aesthetically pleasing. A couple things: yes the glass is thin, simply handle with care Never put it in the dishwasher you will absolutely warp the lid. Just was by hand. They have lasted over a year for us and just bought another set
