Q: There is a switch to turn these on. Does the switch need to stay “on”, and do they automatically light up when it’s dark? I’m not clear on the on/off function of the lights.

Q: Why do we need 2 batteries when it is solar powered? Also does it have dusk to dawn mode where it switches ON at dusk and Off at dawn?

Purchased May 9 and by July 9 they stopped staying lit up throughout the night. Light will last maybe 3-4 hours. I suspect they are breaking down already.

I purchased these because I thought it was a good product and I looking for this Solar type spot lights. After making the decision to purchase only one works and other one turns off, I have to move the switch to off then to on again and stays on for one second. I am very disappointed that I went out of way to purchase junk!

These work really well! I’m surprised how much light they put out at night for how small they are and the price. I didn’t expect them to work so well. You can adjust the aim of the light. They’re in my garden now(these pics are from end of April, my garden is v happy now) bc my roommate didn’t like them in front. I need to move them now so the lavender and more colorful things popping off can be seen.

I bought three sets of these to shine light on the front of my house. One set kicked the bucket almost immediately and the others are super dim compared to the lumen value advertised. The overall light feels a bit flimsy compared to other, cheaper, solar spotlights.

One has always worked, the other is wonky - sometimes works, sometimes not. The light is weather resistant and bright enough as landscape lighting to light up a specific area to focus, better if the two are placed on opposite sides. Lasts only a few hours once dark, not all night. A good value for the pair. Held off exchanging and now they’re no longer on the site. Hope they get upgraded and return soon.

These are so great, even Bigfoot approves! But seriously, these have lit up every night since I bought them (about a month or more). They aren’t super super bright but bright enough for my liking. The light and solar pad both rotate up and down separately, so you can get the angle you want and still catch the sun the way you need. They do hold water on the lens by design but that hasn’t impacted their use. They’ve been subjected to over 100 degrees and super heavy rains and high winds thus far with no issues.
