Q: I am having the hardest time getting the battery cover to slide off. How do I open the back to get the battery in?

Q: does it have dusk to dawn mode where it switches ON at dusk and Off at dawn?

A: Parker - We really appreciate your interest in this item, The item will automatically illuminate when in dark conditions.Turn switch on underside of solar panel to “on” and place in a sunny location, the solar panel will charge the internal batteries.The item will automatically illuminate once it is dark outside or when the solar panel is covered up.Item will illuminate until the internal battery power is drained. The item will begin charging once the solar panel begins to see sun light.I hope this helps . - Kate

Great solar light. Using several as up-lighting for trees in my yard and they are great. Sturdy structure and bright light. Love that the solar panel is adjustable to best position for sun. Definitely recommend. Will be buying more.

When they light up, they’re great. But I found it a struggle to find the perfect placement for it to charge in the sun but get enough shadow to light up. They are very finicky. I do like that it has a switch for on/off. I probably wouldn’t recommend without some temperamental improvements first.

I was looking for solar spotlights to place outside my home to highlight my spiking succulents. Wow! What a difference they make! They shine brighter than expected and look fabulous for the price. Haven't tried these yet, but had to write a review to share how horribly this was shipped. Someone threw 2 lights into a box, and called it a day. Zero protection for the trip, so they banged around in the box the whole way. I'm just flabbergasted.

This is perfect to use as a spot light on garden decor, to show case flowers or to light a path for your walkway. It is easy as putting it in the ground and adjust the solar panel. You will need to make sure the area you put the light has access to enough sun for it to charge. These are made out of weather resistant plastic, so it is perfect for outside. Overall, a great value! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of some new solar lights around my garden area. I have never bought any solar lights by this brand but, I am pleasantly surprised. These little lights are a great price. They are made of high quality material and seem like they should last some time. We bought four of them and so far, so good. These charge with about five hours of full sun. The lights last from dusk to dawn. I received an incentive to write this review.

Perfect for a garden, to angle up at your mailbox, light up a walkway or anything else. It has a rod type base that goes into the ground easily. It must be turned on for the light to come on, but then it draws from the sun and will have solar energy functions. Only comes in black which I don’t mind. Made of plastic. Seems sturdy for longtime outdoor use. I received an incentive to write this review.
