Q: I am having the hardest time getting the battery cover to slide off. How do I open the back to get the battery in?

Q: does it have dusk to dawn mode where it switches ON at dusk and Off at dawn?

A: Parker - We really appreciate your interest in this item, The item will automatically illuminate when in dark conditions.Turn switch on underside of solar panel to “on” and place in a sunny location, the solar panel will charge the internal batteries.The item will automatically illuminate once it is dark outside or when the solar panel is covered up.Item will illuminate until the internal battery power is drained. The item will begin charging once the solar panel begins to see sun light.I hope this helps . - Kate

These are terrible I have them in broad sunlight all day and from the moment the sun goes down and they turn on automatically they last maybe 3 hours. I have three and one only lasts two hours. Will be returning

I love these lights! Even on a cloudy day they all come on to brighten my garden beautifully. I'm not sure how long the charge lasts, but I'm long asleep before they go off. They also came quickly after ordered.

I really like that you can adjust not only the solar panel angle, but also the light itself. Obviously the cost was the draw. The only downside is it was very sunny outside yesterday and I woke up this morning at 4 AM and they were all off. So, they definitely don’t seem to hold a charge to last. I’m curious to find out what time they turn off at. Out of the six that I purchased one didn’t work and I will return that one today. Not bad for a very small patio situation space. There is a small switch underneath the light to switch them on.

When they light up, they’re great. But I found it a struggle to find the perfect placement for it to charge in the sun but get enough shadow to light up. They are very finicky. I do like that it has a switch for on/off. I probably wouldn’t recommend without some temperamental improvements first.

Haven't tried these yet, but had to write a review to share how horribly this was shipped. Someone threw 2 lights into a box, and called it a day. Zero protection for the trip, so they banged around in the box the whole way. I'm just flabbergasted.
