The top "wooden" piece was damaged on the corner, which my spouse didn't notice until after assembling, making it too much of a hassle to return. It was well packaged and there was no damage to the box, which means it was already damaged when it was packaged. No quality control. It was easy to assemble. It claims to hold 9 pair of shoes, but it won't hold that many shoes if they are men's sizes. Overpriced when you can't count on it arriving in good condition.

The quality of the shelf was a lot less than I expected. The metal is thin, the wood on top is particle board with gray, wood-toned veneer. I would expect yo pay under twenty for an item like this, definitely not worth over forty
