A: Hi Courtney-The space between the lowest shelf setting and the bottom of the unit is 2.4 inches but the shelves are adjustable. Raise the bottom shelf up one setting and the space will be 6.4 in. Thx!

Thank you to the person who wrote the review explaining that the screws are in fact NOT too short. I was just doing it wrong and was getting very frustrated until I read that review explaining that the bars slide into the tabs then you screw it together. The screws work just fine lol

I initially got the item for our entryway shoes (we dont have a real entryway so I get a little creative) and it was bigger than I expected. My fault, should have measured. However, it ended up fitting my stepson’s closet PERFECTLY! He uses it in his upper shelf. He has clear boxes of his toys and he can stack them well on the shelf. Works great to help keep the closet organized

Works nicely but is a little wobbly. I put them inside a closet floor so the walls keep them from going anywhere but they might not be right for an entryway. They fit big shoes and boots, which is not always easy to find.

I think this rack is a great value for the price. We keep it near our door and use it everyday to store our shoes. This is a great way to keep carpets clean and I also enjoy having my shoes ready for me to slip on before going out the door. It is sturdy and holds about 9 pairs of adult shoes if you use the floor under the rack to store as well. Would buy again.

Can fit four US Men’s sized 15 shoes on this rack, 2x2. The manufacturer says it fits 6 shoes, which is probably true for women’s shoes. I attached a pic. I’m happy that it’s deep enough for Size 15 boots, sneakers, etc. This can be hard to find. Incredibly easy to put together, nice looking, doesn’t feel like it could handle any sort of weight - my cat doesn’t want to jump on it for example.

I was looking for something with space for shoeboxes under the lower shelf. But the lower shelf attachment is at approximately the same level as the lowest rung on the side pieces, leaving a big space in between shelves. Why the discrepancy?
