Ok, this is actually a really nice cabinet, DESPITE it being a pain in thebitt to assemble. I think adding the doors, is the most difficult part. Everything else is easy. After putting one together, the second one was a cake walk. Use two people to put the doors on. It will be much easier! The first one, I put them on while it was laying flat. The second one, I put the doors on while standing and was able to even them out a lot better. Someone else in the comments suggested using felt under the one. I will try that. The cabinets are metal and glass. Very heavy. Once assembled they are pretty sturdy. I didnt like the light wood so I flipped the middle shelves and added contact paper to them. I did not bolt them down in case I decide to use the light wood. The bottom piece I did apply contact paper to the light wood. Hopefully, it doesnt destroy the color if peeled. I Put the backing on backwards. I was also able to run wires to the devices inside by leaving a slight gap in the corner backing. I added random lights but may redo the inside and add permanent lighting. All and all, I am thrilled with these cabinets. Worth the hassle! Also happy I got them on sale!

These cabinets can be such a show stopper in your dining/living area. Can be used for storage or for decor pieces, even a bar cabinet. Either way, You will love it. I turned the back panels around to have a darker, monochromatic look all throughout.

Poorly Made. Would NEVER buy again. Do not recommend.
My first cabinet was shipped and glass was broken in the box, the box had a hole, and glass was spilling out of the box, so I returned it. Then my second cabinet, after putting it together, had warped shelves and warped doors. This meant it does not shut evenly the way it should. Lastly, on the back of the cabinet in the top corner you are supposed to put a screw in the top. The hole had an issue and the screw would not tighten, even after trying the extra screws! I am very disappointed with the quality of this cabinet and I would NEVER recommend anyone to buy this. This is extremely overpriced and the quality is NOT worth this amount of money at all! I would have been better off buying a similar item somewhere ONLINE that was not Target for cheaper.

Nice Look - Poor Quality Build
Materials are heavy and of high quality, would be a great looking cabinet! However, like many of the other reviews (I thought it apparently wouldn't apply to my purchase) the furniture came with poor build quality. the base of the cabinet has a corner lower than the other making the first shelf stick up on one side, which I was willing to live with - the major problem with that issue is the unit cannot ever be square, so doors wouldn't even line up with the screws it was that angled due to the base issue. If you're considering this item, save some time and pick something else.

Beautiful
I love the end result but assembly was difficult. I had trouble getting the doors to align but I ended up sticking a felt pad (the kind used on chair legs) on the bottom of one door and they are now level. I painted the shelves and back piece black prior to assembling and changed the hardware. I love the end result!

Do not waste your money
Absolutely horrible manufacturing. The doors are so uneven it looks broken, there’s a screw hole showing in the bottom bar, and the top is uneven. Not worth the money.

Missing screws but looks nice.
Overall I love the look of this cabinet. I thought the assembly was easy except it was missing a set of screws. I had to buy more screws online which was more expensive and a hassle.

Pro: it’s pretty Con: Smells awful like chemicals, difficult to put together, expensive for these cons. Smells has eventually gone away and it is put together. In the end, it looks nice and I’m glad we got it but if I had known about the cons beforehand and with it being so expensive, not sure I would have gotten it.

Assembly difficult, pay for it if you want it, returning
The item itself is beautiful, but assembly is horrific and disappointing. The shelves have to be screwed in, but there are no pilot holes in the shelf so it’s all brute strength. But the worst part is the screw holes in the metal doors. Unlike the door knob holes which were drilled and easy to access, the door hinge holes were all done by punch, making them smaller than the screw itself. We tried forcing it but metal shavings occurred, and even with brute force, you end up stripping out the screws before they can be completely installed. If you’re going to order this, pay for the assembly and have it shipped to your local Target so you can inspect it before taking it home. It is a heavy box so better to do it the hard way if you really want it so you save yourself some agony. We are so irritated we’re just returning it to the store. So disappointing.

Don’t buy
Very difficult to put together. The picture makes it seem like the product is a nice black wood, the product is actually metal. We were missing a bracket so the doors continuously swing open (we have to close them with a rubber band). We reached out to request the missing part. 2 weeks later we hadn’t heard anything, they sent us an email saying expect the part to be shipped, then the WRONG part that does not go with this piece was delivered. All together a disaster.

Impossible to put together
I have put together a lot of furtniture - these are impossible. Everything goes great until you get to the doors. The holes for the screws are simple not large enough to actually get the screws in. I had to return 2 of these after mostly putting them together and then not being able to attach the doors. Other furniture from this line is made much better. I love the wood and black design but low rating because I could not put it together and had to disassmble to return.

Gorgeous piece - assembly requires time and help!
The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and I’m thrilled with how they turned out. That being said, this is definitely not a job for one person and you’ll need some tools and DIY skills. As others have said, it’s a challenge getting the doors to align. But the whole assembly process is tricky, and I’d sat we put about six hours in total. I also received a side piece with the hole blocked, so had to ream out the hole using a drill. And if you want to use these as a console/media table, you’ll need a hole saw to add space for cords to come through the back panels. Overall, I saved a lot of money doing it this way instead of buying a comparable piece somewhere else and wouldn’t change my decision to do that, but be prepared going in! Also, know that the box weighs about 80 pounds, so you’ll want help carrying it!
