Looks nice once assembled, but it smells awful. Hoping it improves soon. Wish the two assembly stripes were same color as rest of unit so they don’t stand out that much.

The quality is very good. I took my time and read instructions and looks very sturdy. My only concern was a scratch on the top even though it was packaged safely. I was disappointed but covered it with a book and photo frame.

For the price the item is very cheap. I was looking at other shelves similar but for half the price but decided to go with the more expensive one thinking it would be of better quality. The shelfing pieces are so flimsy I can't imaging them holding much weight without bowing. I returned the item.

Most of the pieces are fiber board, not real wood. Medium-hard top assemble for one person (awkward to handle alone). My set did not contain a neededd phillips head screw of unspecified length and diameter, I have asked for it but not gotten and answer. Painting of wood has some gaps and minor imperfections.

The shelf is a nice-looking piece and sturdy...after a bit of help. Upon assembling the unit, it was a bit wobbly despite ensuring that everything was assembled properly and properly tightened. Everything lined up properly on the base, but after placing the top on, the pins caused the base to come out of alignment. I ended up gluing the top on and the back in place (with clear Gorilla glue) and it is now a solid piece.
