I purchased multiple rolls of these lights, luckily most of the rolls I got had the lights twinkle. When they are good, they are good! However, I had two rolls out of six that seemed flicker or strobe and wouldn't twinkle at all. The lights will still work out for me. I do enjoy them!

I gave 4 stars because it's a personal preference. I like the solid unblinking lights. the twinkling it neat, but it's only the yellow color lights that flicker. I liked the fact they are incandescent, but ultimately chose to return and get just solid incandescent lights.

First off my tree looks beautiful after I spent two days cutting off the old lights on my pre-lit tree and then restringing new lights. The lights blink more than twinkle. I would prefer they twinkle more slowly but it’s not a deal breaker. I used 7 strands on my tree. I realized after connecting 4 strands and two fuse changes later that the container states specifically only 3 strands should be connected. Lesson learned. The bulbs are definitely warm but that’s the difference between incandescent and LED. They work harder and use more energy making them hotter. I made the choice to go with the less expensive lights so I guess you get what you pay for. My tree is lovely and while I may have to change the lights again next year I’ll enjoy it for this season!

If I could give a 0, I would. I regret not reading reviews first. I bought 4 of these and hung them on my tree outside. Fuse blew on one section first. But the others worked so not bad. Well after finishing my install which took several Hours!!! They lasted a total of 5 mins and stopped working! Now I’m going to have to remove them and start over again. Please don’t waste your time or money on these! I’m beyond frustrated! Ridiculous

Wish I would have read other reviews before purchasing. Connected four sets of these (keeping in mind each set is two strands) on my tree, fully decorated it and then all the lights went out. The extension cord (that we've used for years without issue) that we connected them to was very hot to the touch. I think the plastic actually melted & disrupted the circuit. See pictures of what happened to the plug. Have to take all ornaments off to return these now. They should be recalled for overheating - so dangerous! Do not buy no matter how cheap!

It is not a continuous strand it is two strands connected. I purchased bc the sale SEEMED amazing. The lights can only have 6 strands connected without popping the fuse….annoying. I would return if i didn’t have them in trees.

Do not buy these!
It took 4 packs of these to cover my tree. I woke up the morning after I left them on over night and saw one of the strings out so I had to rearrange them and buy another pack to replace it. Third time having the tree lit up and it happens for the second time, two random string of lights are out this time. I have to completely redecorate my tree that took me hours to decorate and also find new lights. A total waste of money and I wish I had read through these reviews!
