Hard to place
These shelves were hard to install. There are 4 small screws on the back, that attach a metal plate for hanging them. Those 4 screws come out and scratch the wall and don’t allow for propers installation. No matter what we did the shelves kept coming off

Love these shelves!
Love these shelves! They are sturdy and beautiful. They look very similar to me, like sisters but not twins. You should definitely measure before mounting. I put a lot of frames/plants on top and they are holding up fine even without a wall anchor. A lot of people say they don’t sit flush against the wall. If that happens, just push your screws in tighter. If the screws stick out too far, the shelf will tilt forward. The screws don’t have to stick out much at all. That should help.

This peice is beautiful, but its not very sturdy. The back construction is difficult for it to sit on the wall flat. The coloring is nice, but based on other sentiments it seems its random, so 2 peices can be very off next to each other. Overall, not bad for the price but would not purchase this again.

Love anything Magnolia, and this shelf did not disappoint. I purchased a few, because the coloring is not consistent. I chose the two that most closely matched and returned the others. They’re great sturdy shelves. I used mine in my water closet but they’re so versatile you can put them anywhere. Sturdy, yet feminine.

I already have one but tried to buy 2 more to make a faux mantle. They were completely different colors. Much lighter than picture or the one I already have. So disappointing. Tried to buy again looking for a match but they sell out so quickly.

Wishing for better quality control
I wanted to love these, but each one I received was warped or bowed… kinda frustrating. And a few screws included needed replacing. I didn’t have the color variation issues like others, so at least there’s that. Also, heads up: the nail plates on the wall side of these shelves have three spots with 4 tiny screws keeping them on the shelf itself, which scratch the wall or anything else they rub against if you’re not careful.

Beautiful pieces!
Bought this piece along with the shorter one and loved how it turned out. Need to be careful with the three posts to make sure they are aligned when mounting. Other than that, it was very easy to mount. I did note some slight differences in wood color compared to the shorter piece, but they aren’t noticeable for our home given the natural light and shadows for our living room.
