Horrible
Took these out of the box , put together , put the bulb in and plugged in. Started smoking and almost started a fire in my home . Worst purchase ever !!! I have always trusted Target for my purchases . Taking the item back to the store was just as terrible a process .

Don't buy it!
Do not buy this horrible thing. It came "loose," which I did not think about at first. But once I filled it, I realized it was loose because it was defected and the length of the rod didn't go far enough to screw securely into the shell. Absolute nightmare. Last time I buy from these people.

Fills from the bottom
The quality, size and shape of this lamp are exactly what I was looking for. I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 because it fills from the bottom which (in retrospect), I should have realized from the photos. If you are looking to arrange the contents, then this may not be the lamp for you. Also, if you have items like shells that have any sand, then the sand sticks to the neck and "shoulder" of the lamp when you turn it upright.
