Shells very nice...base is plastic, was expecting metal...threads of the hardware at the base are not in sync, so the base is loose. Overall it is a nice looking lamp, but would not buy again.

These lamps are a perfect addition to our beach house. We can't wait to collect sea shells at the seashore to add to them!

We ordered two of these lamps, to put some of our lovely Sanibel Island shells inside. We love the lamps - good size and shape. We got the first lamp filled, o problem - it looks lovely. But when I was putting shells into the second lamp - the glass cracked. There’s no way we can risk using it - I’m afraid it might shatter and we’d have glass all over. I love the lamp - but be careful when filling!! I’m not sure if the glass on the second lamp was just more fragile or what, as I thought I was being very careful as I filled it.

I love my new lamps. Was surprised decorative shells were provided. They added color to what I found on the beach. The squareness of the glass gave the lamp added uniqueness. Very happy with my purchase.

Complete disaster to put together. Top piece doesnt connect to the base. Very disappointed. Ordered two and one is okay but the other can’t be used. Also design flaw on how to actually put shells into base. No way to put in from the top.

We were looking for lamps that would allow us to decorate them to fit our seashore decorating style. They worked perfect for us by filling them with sea shells and sand.

We love our new lamps. There are not enough shells included, so we added some of our collection. It looks so much better now. Only complaint - 1 lamp had some nice, colorful, larger shells but the 2nd lamp had mostly small shells that were just plain white. Had about 10 shells that were broken.

Bigger than I expected so I returned for something similar. Good quality though.

Easy to assemble. Happy they sent a sample of shells and light bulbs! They look nice in my spare bedroom and fit the coastal theme well.

Round piece that sits on the base does not go around the glass. Glass is square. Very disappointed with product. Rod on top does not go through the center

Although this lamp was a bit smaller than I hoped, it totally worked out great. I filled mine with wine corks and am using them in my family room. As a wine enthusiast, this look was exactly what I was hoping for.

I really love these lamps. They come with shells but I used river washed stones instead -- I live in the forest.

Filled with sea glass and the shells included, they look great.

I recommend these lamps with a couple of caveats. You will need to buy or find a lot more shells if you want the lamp filled up even half way. (On the plus side, it comes with some pretty and brightly colored shells that have not been dyed.) I would give this a 5 if I could load the shells from the top and arrange them as I wanted. A top fill would also allow you to add a cup or two of sand at the bottom which would make the arrangement even more lovely. I will continue to look for top filled lamps and will give these as a gift at that point. Overall, nice lamps for the money.

I bought these to use in 2 separate bedrooms. I used all of the shells for one lamp and multi colored gems for the other and I love them! We get compliments all the time AND you can change the look anytime!

I have Always wanted fillable lamps for our bedroom. We live near the ocean and having them filled with shell are amazing!
