We purchased this lamp for my father in April 2024 and he loved it. However the built in light burned out June 2025 and he threw it in the trash because there was no way to change the bulb. Fir the price we expected it to last much longer.

Nice finish. Easy assembly. Bright enough to read in my chair. I really like it!

The design is nice and sturdy. The light is just the right brightness for reading. If there is one potential weakness, it is the switch. It seems flimsy but works well at this point

Bulb never worked properly - it’s built in and supposedly can’t be replaced - flickers on and off and shuts off irregularly. Have tried various outlets through the space to check. The inability to replace the bulb is not worth the uncertainty.

This is an ideal reading lamp. It's simple and sturdy and has a beautiful finish to accent any reading nook. Simple to assemble and arrived promptly.

The lamp itself looks great. The light is much brighter than I expected, and there’s no way to change it. I will not return it because it’s worth the money overall.

This is a sturdy, solid lamp as others have mentioned. I regret not checking that there is no dimmer on this, but for my needs it is not a bummer. What IS A BUMMER is the packaging. Of course, they use styrofoam - but in this case it was shedding like snow the second I opened the box. Trying to avoid making a mess, I removed each piece with surgical precision. It was no use. My office looked like a winter wonderland after the parts were out of the box. Assembly time: 3 minutes. Cleaning up the styro-snow from my office, hallway and kitchen - 20 minutes. Time to change how we package things.

Very nice heavy guage metal used in manufacturing. Solid and yet unobtrusive. Power cord should be longer. Arrived prompt following order without blemish of any kind.

This is a really beautiful lamp. Looks expensive and made well. I’ve purchased many lamps at Target, returned quite a few, kept more. This one is my favorite of them all.

Lamp received in a timely manner. Exactly what was needed for a senior that needed better lighting next to a rec. room chair. Pleased with the purchase and ease of ordering this online and the timing of delivery. Heavy enough that the lamp is not easy tippable.

I bought the lamp for reading because I needed brighter light. I like it a lot, it has replaced my floor lamp.

Great light really allows me to read with then right amount of light

This lamp is compact but quite stable for its size. It works well for its main purpose as a bright reading light but the lamp head also can be pointed upward or toward a light-colored wall to provide very good ambient light (more than enough for working on a laptop, watching TV, etc., and even reading) in a large room while consuming only 5W per hour.

Very nice lamp. A great asset to our den. Reading is easy no strains to see small items.

Lamp has the right size, looks, and height is adjustable. However, the lamp part does not stay horizontal; it leans downward which makes it look terrible. This is a manufacturing or assembly defect that cannot be corrected unless the product is replaced by one that stands correctly. Do not recommend this product and chastise manufacturer for extremely poor quality control for not catching this obvious flaw.

Perfect reading light! A good fit for any corner and the dark brass finish I wanted.
