Description

Nice lamps but sloppy QC
Nice looking lamps but one of the two we bought has a defective swivel on the post. When I try to swivel the lamp post from side to side there is an excessive amount of slop in the swivel joint and makes the post above the joint take on a lean. It's also somewhat difficult to even get it to swivel in the first place, I'm thinking the defective joint is causing a bind. The other one is perfect, swivels nice and operates just as advertised.

I went to a store to look at this model, and liked the design and look of the floor model. After taking the 2 that I bought home and taking them out of the packaging, I saw that the brass finish was uneven. The steel-colored metal underneath shows through in some spots, and some have a lot of the brass color. It's enough to bother me, so I'm going to return them.

Installed this lamp as a reading lamp over my bed; it is perfect; the dimmer switch makes the lamp quite bright so reading is now easier on the eyes. Nice finish; very easy to assemble and install. Excellent value for the price.

I think it should be cheaper
This is one of the worst brass finishes I have seen. You can see a lot of the silver coming through underneath. Looks very cheap and I will have to paint black, then rub n buff gold to get a nice brass antique look. I feel like I shouldn't have more work for $100 sconce. Also, my opinion, but you HAVE to give it some love or you'll be forced to return it.
