Q: Does the lampshade require assembly?

A: Hello Alex - no, the shade that comes with this design ships fully assembled. You do have to set it on top of the harp and place the finial on top, which only takes a minute, but the shade itself requires no assembly.

Q: Can you use 3 way bulb? Or led 3 way?

A: Hello - this design does not have a 3-way socket, so it doesn't have 3-way functionality. You could put a 3-way bulb in, but it will only use the brightest setting.
