3M Indoor Window Film Mounting Tape Clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked great for adhering the plastic to my old windows this winter during the big freeze. It was easy and simple enough to use and so far has held up. Hoping it doesn't leave a sticky residue on my frames of my window.

Putting on the frame was easy and effortless and peeling off the top paper was just as quick. It stuck to the window frame and didn't peel back and the plastic stuck to the tape immediately. The whole process was easy and smooth.

It was easy to apply and has kept the plastic tight and didn't mess up the paint and has not broken down during some extreme cold snow and blowing winds. It is extremely sticky and durable for holding insulation plastic. It is double sided and stuck to our new vinyl windows as well as the windows we have painted. I'd definitely recommend this product when insulating windows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to mount a couple of items to my wall and with it being double sided it worked great to keep them in place. I also bought the window insulator kit as a couple of my windows let the colder sir thru, it was easy installing it with the mounting tape, I could put the tape against the window first then remove the outer layer to easily stick the window insulator fit to the tape, made the job easier. Nice product to have on hand.

My husband loves it better then command strips as we used last year, and we were having a few issues. So far, it's held up and we love it. We would highly recommend.

The 3M™ Indoor Mounting Tape is another great option. This take I use with my 3M Window Insulator Kit. It's easy to apply with a ready-to-peel liner. The double-sided Scotch® tape creates a strong bond between the surface, tape and film, securing film in place for the season. Great little product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this tape to insulate the inside porch windows for winter. The tape is double sided and stuck to the vinyl well. I cleaned the molding as instructed first. Tape went in and stayed on. I didn't leave the room to come back and the tape fell. Easy peasy. This was enough tape for two bay windows, with a little left for spare. Now we are winter ready.

I kept trying to hang something on a painted surface and it would hold for about 10 minutes and fall off! Upsetting! THIS product has it holding very securely. I had placed the tape in the wrong spot and was able to easily peel it and move it to the correct spot without peeling paint, and it still held wonderfully! I've used double sided tape before but hasn't held as good as this. Have also used the mounting squares that tear the paint off the wall and are bulky (though good for some purposes), but the thinness and the sheerness of this mounting tape is ideal for some of my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve received the 3M™ Indoor Mounting Tape a couple weeks ago. I love their products and always use their window weather kits in the winter because we have older windows. This tape holds great and doesn’t cause any damage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that the cold weather is upon us, it is the time to go around and put plastic on all the windows to block out drafts and help keep the heat in and the house warm. I usually buy box kits that include the plastic and mounting tape, but have found that the mounting tape they usually include is not strong enough and within days of installing the plastic to the window, the tape starts to peel away and fall off, thus bringing down the plastic with it. Or, if it does stay, there isn't enough tape included with the kit to do an entire window. Over time I have tried different indoor mounting tapes, but the only one that I trust and that I know will hold up all winter long is 3M Indoor Mounting tape. It is easy to use, and holds up well. This double sided Scotch tape, really works wonders holding the plastic film in place through the entire winter season. And, when I take the plastic down in the spring, I don't have to worry about this mounting tape pulling off painting or leave my window frames a mess. If you use window insulator kits, I highly recommend you pick up 3M indoor mounting tape to go with it. I usually buy the entire 3M Window insulator kits, but like to have an extra roll of this double stick, easy to peel liner tape in case I need more.

This mounting tape came in handy this weekend while decorating for Christmas! Used it in many ways, from hanging Christmas lights, to wooden signs and more. It really holds and stays put! Everyone needs a roll of this stuff. It really comes in handy. Highly recommend!
