My review is flawed: Partial review!
again, my review does have a big flaw. it's of prior years models (although that gives the benefit of longer use!) that were one to two pieces of aluminum, spades or trowels and a cultivator. SUMMARY: • I love Targets aluminum trowels and spades • their cultivator is also very nice. • zero experience with these loppers, although reservation. ASKING TARGET PLEASE: • I would love Target to sell the trowels/spades independently 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 as I think they would make excellent gifts, or at least just with the cultivator to make it more affordable for me. I feel like sometimes people want both and there's also a group of people who would only want one or the other. ALL RIGHT THE MAIN WRITTEN REVIEW. I like those pieces a lot. I really don't have interest in the loppers because I find even with big brand names known for multiple products with leverage and specifically shearing/ blades of many types, sometimes those are pretty flawed. so as much as I like pretty handles, it's not in my interest to purchase. it also massively drives up the price of the kit. I have a love for the aluminum tools because for years they'll keep their paint even if left outdoors for months on end. my very first one that I could have bought 10 years ago has chipped, but it's aluminum so it's still 100% useful. and because of the color of aluminum it still stands out amongst the color of my plants. like I like the dark colors a lot too. and I do think they will sell well because they're pretty, but as a heavy Gardener. I really like the light colors that stand out so when I wander away from them, I can more easily spot them. 😂 I am on here looking for more ideally of just spades to gift to somebody as a special thanks who is a land surveyor by trade. they have to carry things all day long so aluminum would be amazing, and Target has had amazing prices in prior years, and hopefully will this year too if I can find an individual piece. while I primarily of a Sandy loam soil, I do have a mix of various types of rocks and I have not broken one shoving it in and hitting a small stone or a few, I'm sure I have also by now hit a big Stone that did not budge with no repercussions to my tool. probably bounced and surprised me but that was all. I started getting some of these in another state so that's the soul piece that has lost a little bit of paint so many years in, which I would consider a very good lifespan cuz outside of the heavy stainless steel products which generally come with a wooden handle which will quickly age if you don't reseal it, it is effectively lasted longer than even stainless steel and unlike more cost effective shovels of painted steel, those would very rapidly rust if not always brought indoors. lastly, I haven't used the cultivator as robustly as some steel ones to yank out things that were growing by stolons beneath the ground, but I do think it's reasonably robust. I have swung it into compacted soil to break it up so I can put the shovel into it with less effort. so I haven't treated it too gently either.

Tropical Garden Tool set
I love the tropical pattern of this garden tool set - it’s so fun and eye-catching! Unfortunately, the scissors don’t work very well.
