The way it’s designed makes me feel safe and cozy. Washing and drying did not ruin the comforter or pillow cases. They didn’t fall apart at all which was my biggest concern. I love love love it!

It is quite heavy, but it doesn't feel heavy on the body, and it wraps around like a luxurious robe, providing you deep warmth. The material is of good quality. I also liked the feel of pillow cases against my face. I minus one star because I did not like the packaging. It was somewhat difficult to get out, and it is almost impossible to put it back in for storage, and also, after putting it in the dryer per package instructions, it didn't really fluffy up. You are also supposed to use a steamer to get the wrinkles out. Not everyone has a steamer! But all in all, I will recommend it.

It came with pillow shams and is one the softest comforters I've ever owned. It's also incredibly warm and cozy for dragging off the bed and by the fireplace. This is a down alternative comforter and it lives up to the name. I already mentioned it's soft but honestly I couldn't think of a better way to say it other then picture a squishmellow stuffed animal but flat and soft for a blanket and that this comforter. It's literally a dream to lay in and feels like it belongs in a princesses room. I also love it folded in half at the end of the bed on a black comforter for looks and optimal warmth at night you cover up with this one but lay on the black one. This would also make for a gorgeous and thoughtful gift.

The bottom is also a soft cotton and when I'm under it, it is not to heavy but heavy enough to make me feel so relaxed. It is the perfect blanket for my bed. It is a SUPER warm comforter with the top being very soft and the bottom having a more rough yet comfortable feeling. The material is also nice and thick and the quality is excellent. Aside from it being almost perfect, I do have to say that this comforter is more for a winter setting with it getting very warm during the night (almost to the point of sweating) and would most likely not be used during the summer. With that being said it is also very heavy so if you’re not into heavy blankets, this is not for you. In the end, I would definitely recommend for its overall performance and quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've slept under this comforter for a few nights now and here are my observations: - the top is very pretty and soft to the touch - it's on the thinner side for a comforter -- not too warm, maybe not great for cold sleepers - the tag says to wash before using, but also to tumble dry without heat. It took over 2 hours to dry completely after I washed it.
