They aren't flannel, but so comfy and soft. The pillow cases have a decorative edge as well as a flap (?) that is normally seen on a higher end linen. While I'm unaware of the thread count the sheets do have a quality feel and decent weight to them.

I’ve tried microfiber sheets in the past and they felt slippery, but these feel luxurious. The best part is how cool they stay at night.
