A: Not as silly feeling as I’ve had previous damask sheets, but a little smoother than cotton

A: I purchased the gray and the natural this week. Have washed the gray, and they wrinkle a little bit out of the dryer, but I use a slower spin cycle in washer to help, and they washed beautifully. I consider them silky, for 100% cotton. And, I have had these kinds of sheets before, and after several washings they become VERY soft. I use wool balls in my dryer. I do not use any fabric softeners or dryer sheets. They are bad for both a washing machine and a dryer. They also keep fabrics, especially cotton, from being breathable! If you are looking for a sheet that won't wrinkle, or that feels more silky than more like cotton (though these are VERY smooth and nice against the skin), you will need to get ones that say "wrinkle resistant", or ones that contain polyester. However, I don't recommend either of those things for sleeping !!

A: We love these sheets, but I wouldn't describe them as "silky." I occasionally need to travel around North America, as part of my job. My employer told me to pick one hotel chain, and stick with them. I chose Hilton (keeping track of multiple hotel billing(s) evidently causes bookkeeping problems). Anyway, here's how I would describe these sheets: When I lie down, and close my eyes, they feel identical to the bed sheets in Hilton Hotels - firm, definitely not silky, but not scratchy either - somewhere in between. Put another way, I would describe them as sturdy, soft, and supple, like high-quality hotel bed sheets.

A: Pocket size is listed as (up to 18"). It fits our 10" mattress with room to spare. Luckily, they put elastic strips in the corners, to pull the extra fabric underneath our mattress; otherwise, making the bed would have been a nightmare.
