Blackened and began to rust after one wash
NOT quality product. Got this set as a gift and one knife had a knick right out of the box; I should have taken them back right then and there. After only one wash the knives started leaving blackened film on everything they cut. Do not buy!!

Rusty?! Buyer beware!
to start off, this silverware is lovely looking and nicely weighted. unfortunately, it is extremely poorly made. my set has rusted within one use despite having been well cared for in the week i’ve owned it. 🤦🏼♀️ Do better, Threshold! An abysmal disappointment.

Rusted after one wash...
My husband and I put these on our registry even though we saw some buyers reported issues with rusting. We thought it might have been the Gold set (the 20pc coordinating set by Threshold) that people were expriencing this issue with, but it turns out not. We got the Silver, and about half of the pieces rusted after one wash through the dishwasher. They are not dishwasher safe as advertised! Do some research on what kind of metals actually are dishwasher safe and save yourself a hassle!

Immediate rust
Don't waste your money on this item. They look nice but started to rust after the first time washing them. Not worth the money. You can find much better quality elsewhere.

Better than Oneida
Better than Oneida. I spent less and got more. A classic design with nice sharp tines. The ones I bought from oneida left rust stains in my sink and mashed my food instead of sinking into it due to the tines ending in a square shape instead of a point. I bought Threshold Sussex and I’m very glad I did. They’re perfect, good weight to them too. Versatile, functional, practical. We love them!

These are really shiny and nice; however, the handles are almost too big for our dishwasher. Just make sure they fit before completely taking them out of the packaging.

I really liked this set of silverware so I am extremely disappointed that after one week of use, one of the knives is already starting to rust.
