They look amazing as well when hung and are super easy to spool back up when not in use. First thing to note is that the colors periodically rotate on these lights ever few seconds. There is a switch that turns them on and off attached to the power plug. The lights themselves are thick plastic and have a durable plastic coating as well. They’re built to last through adverse weather and I have no reason to believe these won’t last through a few seasons of use. You get an extra two bulbs in the box which I thought was a really nice touch. I overall really like these. They easy to hang, well made and look great. What more could you ask for?

However, it still feels pretty limited, and some of the features feel very seizure inducing. They do light up the whole porch very well, though.

The light bulbs are of good quality but they are made of glass, and the string lights are durable. You can keep this type of light set for years without seeing any wear. The lights have different settings where you can have single color, multi-color, or a strobe light setting. Honestly, whenever we host an outdoor party, the lights are the talk of the party once we turn them on. They are so much fun, and the variety of settings is numerous.

The remote gives you so many color choices and lighting effect options and these are durable enough to be used outside. Not only that, but they are also expandable by simply screwing on another set of lights.
