A: In timer mode, the lights will stay on for six hours, stay off for 18 hours, and then repeat.

Q: How lightweight is it? Just wondering how you keep it from blowing off your roof without having to nail it down. New roof, don't want to do anything to harm it, plus I don't get along with ladders too well. Lol.

Q: How do you put it to a timer mode? I turn it on and it would remain turned on over 6 hours into the next morning.

A: Hi Carol, the lifespan of the batteries can vary significantly between battery brands, and can also be effected by cold temperatures, but on average they will last 80 hours. If you are using them in timer mode, this would be about 13-14 days.

I’m very happy with this spider purchase! This big guy (or girl) is great quality compared to some others I purchased from a different retailer. The lights are bright, and the legs are very easy to position. There is a compartment to hold the battery pack securely and a hook to hang the spider. I appreciate that the battery pack includes a timer as not to waste batteries. I love this decoration and look forward to using it to make my house spooky for many years!

I bought this a few years ago and it's been our favorite Halloween decorations. It's a great size and takes three AA batteries so you can put it anywhere. Has a timer, too. We put it on our picture window next to front door and kids love it.

I purchased this spider last year on a whim and I have no regrets. It’s a huge spider and since it’s battery operated I don’t have to worry about running a cord to him to light him up. Plus he has a timer so you don’t have to keep going outside every night and turn him off. He definitely got a lot of attention last year and I can’t wait to put him out again this year.

Absolutely love this spider decoration and ended up buying a second. I attached them to my house and got lots of compliments from neighbors. With batteries they light up and are on a timer, which is convenient. They held up well for the few weeks they were outside. Boxed them back up in storage and will hopefully use them for years to come.

this is very cute, especially when it works. however, the power connections for the lighs are so poor that they only work when the spider is at a particular angle... and hanging from the included strap is not one of the angles. nor is sitting flat on a table, or hanging updisde down from the head. as far as i can tell it only works when being held at a 45 degree angle to the floor and at a tilt. interesting but not what i would call functional for any decorative purpose.

I really love this LED spider! I think it's a perfect size, not too outrageously big but it's a good size to see from far away. looks great at night with the lights. I turned mine on at 6pm so it'll stay on till midnight with the 6 hour on 18 hours off cycle. I highly recommend this spider. also it's pretty easy to hang up with the loop and the basket inside, I just hung it from our porch lights. love this spider and can't wait to use it for years to come!

It says it has a timer. However at least on ours the timer doesn’t work causing us to keep it on all the time and replace the batteries or go up and down our ladder every day to switch it on and off.
