Printed on, not woven in pattern - Persian "style" but not Persian quality.
The pattern on this rug is printed on the low-pile NOT woven into the rug. Where there are irregularities, the original white weave shows thru. It will probably not wear very well. Might just hang it on the wall instead of using it on the floor.
